An English watercolor and gouache of all white wildflowers, delicately painted on a dull green chain-laid paper, circa 1850-1865. Probably painted as a botanical illustration, the piece has an old repair to the paper in the upper left corner, which does not intrude on the painted image. The had-wrapped silk mat and the framing are contemporary, and are museum quality.
